Dr. Amita Mital is a Professor in the Strategic Management Group at IIM Lucknow since 2006. Prior to joining academics she worked for over 18 years with Indian Oil Corporation, India's largest company with a turnover of Rs. 4.5 trillion. Apart from teaching and research, she is a prolific case writer who has published 36 India specific cases from varied industries in the field of strategic management with Ivey, European Case Clearing House (now Case Center) and other reputed publishers. She has also published textbooks and two volumes of case studies.
