CMEE’s offering this program is aligned with its goal of bringing state-of-the-art marketing research practices to the Indian and international markets, raising quality standards in marketing research, and developing more effective marketing strategies. Marketing research is regarded as a foundational topic in marketing education and comprises one of the most important components of marketing practice. Many instructors, however, often consider marketing research a challenging topic to teach and a dry subject for the participants to learn. This workshop attempts to provide an innovative teaching methodology in a way that will engage the participants across industry, academia, and public sector. An attractive curriculum comprising hands-on exercises, case studies, and group projects will be shared to address the challenge of teaching and practicing marketing research. Participants will be exposed to emerging facets of qualitative and quantitative marketing research tools and techniques commonly used in marketing and consumer behavior research for marketing decisions. Also, this workshop is a one-time opportunity for marketing research practitioners to understand the process of conducting marketing research in depth.

“Samvaad – In Conversation with Alumni” was organized by the Alumni Committee of IIM Lucknow on the 02nd and 03rd September 2022 on the theme 'Reimagining Resurgence: Now, Next & Beyond'. Ten illustrious alumni of IIM Lucknow, most of them CXOs in leading companies, shared valuable insights, experiences and personal journeys during the interactive discussions with the students and faculty.
The insights focused on uncovering how Indian businesses are on their way to recovery after the long-lasting impact of the pandemic and what it means for the student community of IIM Lucknow. The resurgence is marked by an increasing focus on technology as an enabler and sustainable business practices for the long term, and we further explored the themes together with our panelists.
We witnessed three enriching panel discussions over two days focusing on ‘Disruptive innovation’, ‘Navigating the unpredictable’, and ‘Building a ‘Winning’ Brand’ . This year, IIM Lucknow hosted a diverse set of alumni from batches 1998 right up to 2017, with alumni speakers with expertise in multiple domains such as Finance, Marketing, Consulting, Operations, and Entrepreneurship. Our esteemed alumni with experience in major industries such as Banking, Logistics, E-commerce, FMCG, Technology and Private Equity & Venture Capital attended the event.

Valediction Ceremony of GMPE-04 Batch Dubai
IIM Lucknow successfully completed the 4th batch of the General Management Programme for Executives - Dubai. The same was celebrated with a Valediction Ceremony in the IIML Campus on Oct 22, 2021. The certification ceremony and participants' visit to the campus symbolised the synergy developed over the twelve months' association between the study group and the faculty. Some students attended the ceremony virtually. Enriched with academics and applicability of the programme, the participants nostalgically spoke of their engagement in the programme and how it had impacted everyone immensely.

He currently serves as the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Business Research.
Dr. Donthu received the 1997 Georgia State University Outstanding Faculty Achievement Award (university-wide award for extraordinary achievement in teaching, research and service), the 1994 and 1999 Robinson College of Business Faculty Recognition Award for Research, the 1998 Robinson College of Business Faculty Recognition Award for Teaching, the 2003 Robinson College of Business Faculty Recognition Award for Service, and the 2004 Robinson College of Business Board of Advisors Award for Service. IIM Lucknow, IIM Trichy and AIS India Chapter to host a Joint Paper Development Workshop for ICIS 2021
The International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) 2021 will be held at Austin, Texas, USA in December 2021. Leading up to the conference, a Paper Development Workshop has been scheduled in Virtual mode on 11-April-2021. There is No Registration Fee for the workshop.
Target Audience
The workshop is meant for scholars targeting papers (completed research papers or short papers) for submission to ICIS 2021. Papers can either be at a relatively mature stage or early stage that can be developed further in-time for submission to ICIS-2021. Doctoral students, faculty members, or practitioners from any discipline are invited to submit papers related to Information Systems.
Workshop Modalities
Senior scholars and leading IS researchers from premier institutes across the globe will be involved in reviewing the papers.
Authors of selected papers will be invited to present their papers at the workshop, where reviewers will provide detailed feedback.

About the webinar
Over the last decades, Tourism has become one of the most dynamic and fastest-growing and emerging economic sectors in the world. The importance of the tourism sector as a driver for job creation and the promotion of local economic development, culture and products is reflected in several of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goals 8, 12 and 14, which set forth tourism-specific targets. Tourism contributes to job creation both directly and indirectly, particularly for women and young people. In 2019, the sector accounted for (directly and indirectly) some 330 million jobs worldwide, equivalent to 10.3 per cent of total global employment and one in 10 jobs globally. But COVID-19 has dramatically changed this. The impact on tourism enterprises and workers, the majority being young women, is unprecedented. Timely, large-scale and, in particular, coordinated policy efforts both at international and national levels are needed in consultation with governments, employers’ and workers’ representatives to recover the rapid decline of growth of this sector. The immediate imperative is to assure the survival of tourism sector stakeholders through large-scale public support without which the sector will collapse before the virus does.
In this context, CMEE is planning to conduct an online webinar on ‘Tourism in the COVID-19 Pandemic Era: Challenges and the Way Forward'.

Leadership Talk Series by the Entrepreneurship Cell at IIM Lucknow Noida Campus was glad to invite Mr. Utkarsh Amitabh, founder of Networkcapital.co and Business Development Manager, Microsoft who talked about the future career scenario. Using the examples of Warren Buffet & Charlie Munger, Mr. Amitabh asserted that the future belonged to those who were capable of thinking from the 'first principles' of a concept. He also talked about the importance of building and participating in communities in the area of one's interest - to act as a lever and as a source of meaning to one's career. With the linear way of approaching a career becoming obsolete, he suggested micro-experimentation, that is to try out different career options in a risk-free environment to arrive at one that truly provides a sense of achievement & fulfillment. As a part of the Leadership Talks Series at IIM Lucknow's Noida Campus, PGP-Sustainable Management was glad to host Mr. Anindya Chowdhury, Country Manager of the Energy Transitions Program at Shell India Markets Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Chowdhury explained the 'Sky Scenario' - the favoured energy transition strategy of Shell with a mosaic of solutions for buildings, cities, industries, and countries. It was enlightening to know that Shell is integrating sustainability and reduction in GHG emissions into its strategy and is now looking at itself not just as an oil & gas company but as an energy transition company.
