Instructions for applying Online:

Step1:

Candidate must have


  • Executives with bachelor's degree in any discipline or an equivalent academic pursuit, with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA;
  • A Valid GMAT or GRE Score. Hence the GMAT/GRE test date should be between November 01, 2018 to October 31, 2023 for first phase and January 01, 2019 to December 31, 2023 for second phase. It is mandatory to submit Official Score card/Test Taker copy (if Official Score card is not yet received) along with the application.
  • You need to submit the GMAT/GRE score card along with the application form. You should also inform GMAC/ETS. Our GMAT code is J39-VT-55. and GRE Designated Institution (DI) Code is 4988.
  • A minimum of 5 years full-time post-qualification (after graduation) work experience as on 31st March 2024.
  • Note: Mention only full-time paid work experience after obtaining a Bachelor’s degree. Start with your current or most recent job. Follow it with the one before it, then the previous one, and so on. Include your job title, the company name, and the dates worked. Do not include freelance/training/project work done as an integral part of any curricular requirement.
Step2:

Please provide the names, phone numbers and email ids of two recommenders. Submission of TWO letters of recommendation is mandatory. Provide details (email id &contact details) of two persons as your referees in the on-line application (preferably one from the current employer or from an individual who is in a position to evaluate your job performance). References will have to be submitted online by the referees directly on or before the stipulated last date for submission of application. Please inform the referees accordingly when you approach them for providing references. References are a part of the application and you will be able to submit the application only after the Reference section is complete. No separate extension will be allowed for submission of References outside the application. References cannot be received/submitted separately

Step3:

Upload the scanned copies of:

  • A recent, recognizable colour photograph (4.5cm × 3.5cm) should be uploaded by the candidate in the online application form in jpg/jpeg format.

  • The signature of the candidate in jpg/jpeg format.

  • Valid Official GMAT/GRE score, the score must be valid till last date of application (PDF FILE);

  • Combined scanned PDF of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Mark sheet and Passing Certificate,
  • Combined scanned PDF of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Mark sheet and Passing Certificate,
  • Combined scanned PDF of bachelor’s degree, All Sem./Term Mark Sheets and Degree Certificate;
  • SC/ST Certificate, if applicable;
  • Certificate of Disability, if applicable;
  • Combined scanned PDF of all Experience, i.e. experience and reliving letter(s) (The date of joining and relieving the employee should also be mentioned) along with first & last/latest salary slips Please do not upload an appointment letter or joining letter;

  • Receipt of online application fee (Non-refundable) of INR 5000.

  • Self-employed professionals may submit a personal declaration stating the exact dates of their employment along with necessary documents.
Step4:

Please fill all the sections of the Online Application Form completely.

Step5:

Once you click on the 'SUBMIT' button at the end of the form, you will not be allowed to change the form.

Step6:

Short-listed candidates will be required to present all original testimonials at the time of the Personal Interview. .

Step7:

IIM Lucknow encourages applications from candidates from socially backward communities (SC, ST), female candidates as well as Persons with Disabilities.

Step8:

In all matters relating to the admission process, the decision of the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow is final and binding on the applicant.

Step9:

No correspondence will be entertained from the applicant regarding his/her non-selection.

Step10:

IIM Lucknow reserves the right to change, modify or adopt any new admissions process that it deems necessary at any point.

Step11:

You will be required to make a Payment of INR 5000/- (Non-refundable) towards Application Fees to complete the application process. The application fee is non-refundable and should be paid on-line. Details for making the online payment are provided in the application form.

Note that you will not be able to make any changes to the Application once it is submitted. You may like to "Preview" the application very carefully once it is completed before submitting it. The System will allow you to "Preview" the application multiple times before you "Submit" it.

Step12:

Only Online submission of the Application Form will be accepted.

Step13:

Incomplete or false information will deem your candidature void.

Step15:

The completed online Application Form should be submitted on or before

  • October 31, 2023 for first phase applicants, and
  • December 31, 2023 for second phase applicants,
