About the Programme
Business simulations let students experience the consequences of their decisions in a compressed and low-risk setting, rather than discussing them only in the abstract. They also keep students engaged in a way that is hard to shortcut, because simulations need live decision-making that cannot be outsourced to AI tools. Yet building a good, context-specific simulation and running it well in class remains difficult for most faculty. SimLabs takes participants through the full simulation lifecycle in three days, from designing a simulation, to teaching with one, to deploying established India-context simulations hands-on. Participants leave with a draft simulation storyboard of their own and practical experience of facilitating and debriefing a simulation session. The programme is offered in collaboration with MSgames (msgames.in), whose simulations are used at IIM Lucknow, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta and SPJIMR.

Who Should Attend
Faculty members from business schools and universities across all functional areas and levels of seniority, as well as postdoctoral researchers, early career scholars and PhD/Fellow scholars in management and allied social science disciplines. No prior experience in simulation design is needed, although familiarity with course and assessment design will help.
