The world is ever shrinking, with constantly blurring lines between economies and countries. In this day and age, management cannot be constrained by territorial or geographical boundaries. Global industry outlook requires managers with finely tuned skills and professional capability to excel in the new geo-economic market world.
This is facilitated by the IIM Lucknow IPMX international immersion program. Every year, the students travel to partner universities across the globe where they get to interact and connect with students and faculty at a global level. This aids in developing holistic and international perspectives which is a crucial skill for managers. They spent one full term at the London campus and will be covering courses on Marketing, Management Information Systems and Macro-economic environment amongst others.
ESCP is the oldest management institute in Europe and was established in 1819. It is renowned for its mission of developing the next generation of transnational business leaders while preparing them to embrace the opportunities offered by cultural diversity. The students will be able to leverage ESCP's European identity to add critical insights to the business dimensions of international firms, cross-border mergers and global workforce management, thereby empowering themselves with the tools needed to explore innovating means to collaborate and grow in multi-cultural and multinational environment.

Regular interactions with the business leaders help develop sound business acumen. The program is often a stepping stone to build a career in the mid/senior management and offers an opportunity to stay focused without losing sight of the fast-changing industry. On the whole, I would recommend this program to one who looks up to a career in the management domain and is ready to put in dedicated efforts to build it.

With 9 years of work experience in IT industry and a mother of one-year-old, I choose the IPMX course at IIM Lucknow to accept new challenges and help me get closer to my dreams. The course is about both unlearning and learning process. It provides clarity on how to approach thoughts, career, and life. The IPMX program was an important milestone in my life. The intensity of the program, the breadth of coursework, and brilliance of the cohort prepared me to transition into a new domain and handle a variety of complex problems with ease. The IPMX program is a priceless investment one can make to prepare oneself for today's volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) environment.
Sridhar Turaga, Incedo Inc., IPMX 2008 – 2009
One word that encapsulate my entire IPMX experience is ‘Exposure’. First, there is thorough exposure towards learning alternate management functions that can supplement or enhance your prior expertise. Second, with my batch size of 67 and average intake work-ex of 8 years, I got exposed to 536-years’ worth of cross-industry insights. Further, mentoring by highly competent faculty from both Lucknow and Noida campuses, gave me the best of both worlds. Finally, the global exposure during the international module was instrumental to my grooming. After working for 10 years in bootstrapped startups, I needed a Launchpad… and I got one!
Atul Prashar, Ericsson Global Learning Services, IPMX 2011 – 12
I joined IPMX after more than 6 years of work experience. Unlike my previous learning experiences in school and graduation, IPMX was more focused on experiential learning. Its case study based learning, periodic quizzes, project activities, international module, experienced professors, guest lectures by industry stalwarts makes the course more interesting & challenging. In a nut shell, the learnings in IPMX have provided me with a structured problem solving approach which has helped me in every situation in my professional life. With IPMX's inter disciplinary learnings, I was able to make a successful career in Analytics consulting.
Nimish Gupta, Kantar (Analytics Practice), IPMX 2014 – 15

Palvi Chawla – IPMX 2017 – 18
The intellectual potential at the IPMX programme is astronomical owing to the diversity of faculty and students on campus. New perspectives and resetting of mental models is not a new phenomenon in class. Since we are an average of the personalities that we interact with on a daily basis, change is inevitable here. IPMX has enabled the onset of a transformational journey for me. With the plethora of management tools and in the company of great people, I look forward to a better version of myself by the end of the course after having spent in analytics and business research prior joining IPMX.
Abhishek Yellepeddy - IPMX 2017 – 18
Intellectually stimulating, competitive and supportive – are the three words that define my journey of IPMX. Aman Sharma - IPMX 2017 – 18
It’s a universal fact that MBA provides not only core fundamentals of business but also intangible learning’s such as leadership, communication and teamwork. IIM Lucknow is no exception to this fact. It has been just three months into the IPMX program. And the most important aspect of IIML’s IPMX is that it is shaping me into a robust business professional and making me to believe that I can be a part of impact to any Organization / Society. I owe this transformation to the rigor, intense and exciting curriculum of the IPMX program. I also can’t undermine the role of diverse peer group, coveted faculty base and various workshops. To sum, the institute puts it’s best in giving the foremost quality education to its students. But the real challenge comes to those who have substantial work experiences. It is not easy for any individual to leave their comfortable jobs and enroll for a rigorous program that is full of projects, assignments, back-to-back classes, field trips and many more. For such individuals, I have one thing to say - Change is HARD at first, MESSY in the middle and GORGEOUS at the end.
Eshaan Vyas - IPMX 2017 – 18
As a pure finance guy joining IPMX was an association with a brand but little did I realize that I was joining a family and a community which integrates emotional and cognitive intellect. The distinguished and illustrious faculty here follows Discendo Discimus – ‘While Teaching We Learn’ so we have a free interactive ambience. Here one learns to unlearn and then learns the micro and macro perspectives of management and business without any chauvinism. IPMX is a journey of liberation from pre-conceived notions and cultivation of enlightenment. IPMX offers a once in a lifetime experience for excellence and growth in career and life as a whole.
Nikhil Manchanda - IPMX 2017 – 18
